So sorry to hear of your loss. I fondly remember Craig and my husband Wendell working together at the museum. Bringing little and big dodads over to the machine shop to fix.repair,make smaller or make bigger. He loved telling a tale and talking about his machines. He will be missed.

Dear Pat and Family, I am so sad that Craig has lost his battle for life. In September 2023, Craig and I sat outside at “Blast to the Past”; we talked and reminisced for two hours. In my heart, I knew that we were saying goodbye. Craig and I have been friends since 1948 when my family moved across the road from the Anthony homestead. From being “Jack Spratt and Mrs. Spratt” in the Kennetcook School Christmas Concert(Grade 6) to solving Grade 9 Mathematics problems together we remained friends. My many trips home to Nova Scotia since moving away in 1971 always included a “check in” with Craig. Pat, I was so happy to receive your email at Christmas when Craig asked you to wish me a Happy Birthday. I had emailed Craig for his December 11 80th turn around the sun. Kennetcook will not be the same without Craig. Pat, I well remember your girls as they grew up across the road from my Mum and Dad. Mum especially loved Charlene, Annette, Barb and Debbie. To all of you, I send concern and love as you celebrate Craig’s life while grieving his loss. Blessings to all who love Craig, Dawn.

We had the privilege of knowing Craig and Pat during our time in Kennetcook as next door neighbours, they were so kind especially to our daughter Samantha who they treated as one of the family as she was growing up, We have lots of wonderful memories of our time there, but there is one that will always stand out, is during the summer when Craig came home for lunch during cutting hay, our daughter would be waiting for him and Craig would make hot dogs for them both and they would sit out on the picnic table on the deck while enjoying the companionship and sunshine, Samantha has alway spoke very fondly of those days just as much as we have and we will never forget all the kindness both Craig and Pat gave to us during our time as their next door neighbor's.
Thank you so much for making our lives so much richer.
Eric Ann and Samantha Butler.

To the family;
John and I worked with Craig for many years at NAD, Dartmouth.
He always had a smile and a funny view on things. I remember him as the man who said he ate oatmeal every day for breakfast..lol.
A few years ago, my daughters had a great time doing wedding photos on and around all his tractors…he was a great guy..enjoy the memories you have.

I grew up across the road from Craig & have known him my entire life. He certainly was a "rock" of our community forever helping those in need. After 50 yrs away from Kennetcook I moved back to live "across" the road from Craig again and soon found him reaching out to help me many times with his tractor or advice. Craig had a sweet unique sense of humor which he carried with him to the end. On Halloween I put up a sign on my lawn that read "FREE CANDY" and underneath Read Oct.31st. Craig called me & asked what kind of candy I had so I said the selection & he commented oh I like all those!! Needless to say I took a bagful over & we both had a good chuckle!! Craig worked diligently along with my brother Barry to keep the Kennetcook Community Church available & maintained the beautiful upkeep. Most important was Craig's commitment to his family. He was a pillar of strength and honesty! My sincere sympathy to Pat and family. Craig will be truly missed. May he rest in peace..❤

Dear Pat and the Anthony women. I remember Craig via a long list of accomplishments and his dedication to his family, passions, and village. But my most heartfelt memory was watching from my workshop as his car meandered up our long driveway at three in the morning with my newspaper. Often, he would take the time to come into the shop to talk and see what I was up to. We were like-minded in looking past the obvious. I am grateful to have met Craig, Pat, and the Anthony girls; please accept my condolences.
