Obituary of David Card

Card, David Morton-79, Centre Burlington, passed away on May 19, 2024, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born January 28, 1945, in Centre Burlington, he was the son of the late Silbert and Jennie (Dodge) Card.
Early in life David worked /travelled on Gypsum Boats before settling down and marrying and raising a family. He started working for Dexter Construction as a load operator and worked there for 45 years before retiring in 2021.
David is survived by his wife Sharon (Harvey), sons Richard, Windsor, Vernon (Amelia Judson), Centre Burlington, daughter Lorraine, Centre Burlington, grandchildren Rebecca, Centre Burlington and Kevin, Dartmouth, brother Laurie, Wentworth Road.
Besides his parents David was predeceased by his son Kevin, sister Rose and brothers Silbert Jr. “Sonny”, Walter and Mervyn.

Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by request. A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
