I have such fond memories of spending time at the Brown's in Cheverie with Della as I grew up and getting to know Mary and Merton and the family. Mary was always kind and welcoming. She was a wonderful neighbour. I loved hearing her sing when the bluegrass played. It was my first introduction to bluegrass and a great memory. We loved seeing Mary and Merton sitting out front, always with a smile and a wave for us.
Joe always looked forward to stopping over to Mary and Merton's to say, "Hi", when they sat out on their front step. He loved to chat with them and will miss those times.
