I just learned of Tom's passing this evening (Nov 9).
Tom and I were high school classmates at Hants West. Tom and I were always sort of neck-and-neck at the top of the class, nevertheless I remember him as a good friend. We parted ways until a few years ago when I was working on a term contract in Truro, and we exchanged stories about how our careers had gone along with Allan Cameron and Chuck Blanchard.
I have noted mention of him as an expert in his field from time to time, He carved out a great career with the Dept. of Agriculture.
My condolences.to the family. I know you will miss him.

To the family of Tom Nunn,
Pat and I wish to express sincere condolences to the family of Tom Nunn on his recent passing. We have known Tom since he joined the NSDA&M, Truro in 1961; and when he would visit the O'Brien Elmhurst Stock Farm, Windsor Forks on a beef call. I had many interesting conversations with Tom in the Truro Mall when we would meet on a bench.
Blessings,
Bob & Pat Murray

Our sincerest condolences to all the Nunn family on the passing of Tom. My first acquaintance of Tom began when we
met at the NSAC in 1959 and continued for the past 60 years. Most recently, in Aug of 2019 our class held a reunion in
Sydney and I enjoyed a lengthy conversation with Tom talking about all the changes and advancements in agriculture
that we were familar with. I will always cherish that time with Tom.
Rest in Peace, my friend.
Sincerely Derill Armstrong of Burlington,Kings Co.

To Tom's family from former colleague and friend Ralph C. Murray
What an empty feeling I had, when I read of Tom's passing in The Chronicle-Herald, on Wednesday AM. I always enjoyed seeing and chatting with Tom, because he was so knowledgeable and always had time to talk with me. We both shared an interest in the beef industry and 4-H. I'm going to miss him, as he was a good friend. Sincere condolences to the family.

I spent many years working alongside Tom with the 4H market committee. As a beef producer in NS I found Tom at every show, sale and event, showing support for an industry he showed so much compassion for. We may have been a few years apart in age, but I always considered him a true friend....Tom you will be missed by many.
