Ettinger Family, I had the pleasure to get to know Bobby during my time on the Kingsmeadow Board and through our Progress Events that we attended together and it really was a pleasure to know him and call him a friend. I loved to tease him about his Habs to get a big smile out of him. He has been missed at the Kingsmeadow home and by the Progress Club members. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Andrew

To Bob's Family; It was our pleasure to know Bob and to appreciate how very special he was. I don't think Bob realized just how important he was to so many people, we will miss him dearly. Bob was an avid fan of the Kennetcook Angels and the Kennetcook Carters ball team, and he cheered loudly for us many times. His imatation of Elvis always kept us entertained. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and you can be proud of the very SPECIAL man that he was. We were all fortunate to have him in our lives. Sincerely Lind and Floyd

Our family is very sorry to hear of Bobby's death. Our daughter, Holly, lives at Kings Meadow, and always loved Bob's sense of humour. Our other daughter Jan, plays the piano, and we used to occasionally go to the house to have a sing-song with the residents. Bob was one of the first ones in the room, and we enjoyed his "El vis antics" a lot! He was a very kind, sensitive man, and will be greatly missed. Sincerely, Sue & Doug Fraser

Bob will be sadly missed by us all. We gathered around the table the other day and talked about how much fun Bob was and how much laughter he brought to King's Meadow. Those that knew him here all had a story to tell. Bob was a small man with a huge smile and spirit. We were sad to see him leave in 2010 but we knew his dream had come true of living with his family and we were all so happy for him. Bob had a strong sense of self, he knew who he was and that was...a family man (and part Elvis). Love all Your Friends at King's Meadow.

I am sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. It was wonderful to read about his life. I was a counsellor in the 1970's at Camp Kiwanis and later the Camp Director. Bobby attended with the Kings Meadows group. He was always engaged in the activities including the Brookfield Elks games and social activities. I have fond memories of him and a time in our lives when we were both young adults starting out the world. Thanks for making the world a brighter place, Bobby.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to my Dad, my Aunts, Meme and Elaine and Uncle Tim. Uncle Bob has inspired me and everyone in our family and friends with his funny sense of humour and his love of Elvis Presley imitations singing songs at the same time loved watching him perform Elvis, since I cannot hear him singing but was totally mesmerized by his acts. I taught Bobby the hand sign shape of I Love You. Since then, he hasn't forgotten that hand sign when I came down to visit him every time. I bid you farewell and your life has fulfilled so that now you can reunite with your other family in heaven. God bless Bobby!
