Hill, Mary Lou Age 50 of Selma, died January 27, 2014 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Mary Lou was born in Antigonish to Henry and Mary VanZutphen, and was the much beloved wife of husband Eldon, caring mother to David (Amy); Nathan; Samantha and Matthew; and Oma to granddaughter Ayla.She is also survived by brother John; sisters Anne Marie (Leroy) MacInnis; Liz (Tom) Farrell; Linda Kennedy; Brenda (Rick) MacInnis; brother-in-law Roddie Kennedy; godchild Erin Farrell; and several nieces and nephews.Mary Lou was predeceased by brother William; nephew Jamie MacInnis; and Mom and Dad (Agnes and Newell Hill) and God Father Frank Van Zutphen. Mary Lou was employed as an Educational Assistant at the Kennetcook Elementary School through the Chignecto Central Regional School Board. Mary Lou was devoted to her family and her faith, and was a well respected leader of the First Maitland Scout Troop and in the past had been active with the LaLeche League of Canada. Mary Lou is remembered by all who knew her as a kind, gentle and caring person. She will be sadly missed by her community and family.
