Obituary of Agnes Hill

Hill, Agnes Mae (Hines) Age 86, Debert Court, Debert, formerly of Noel Shore, Hants County, N.S. passed away on December 2, 2013, in Debert Court, Debert. Born in East Noel, she was the daughter of the late Harry Fahey and Hilda (Grono) Hines. Mom was a wonderful wife, mother and Grandmother. She was dedicated to her family, friends and community. She had an incredible ability to remember details about family, friends, local history, dates and events. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. She is predeceased by husband Newell and brother Alvis Hines. Surviving are daughters Ruth and John French (Crystal and Holly), Donna and Bruce Berry (Adam and Steven), Linda and Jim Ross, Donald and Pam (Derek, Kyle and Caitlyn), Eldon and Mary Lou (David, Nathan, Samantha and Matthew), Evan (Tia), four great-grandchildren, sisters Myrna (Frank) Wier, Iona (Karl) Spencer, and sister-in-law Velma Hines. Thank you to family, friends and neighbours who visited, wrote letters and kept in touch - she loved getting "the news from home". Also, many thanks to Dr. Altenkirk and Dr. Shen and everyone who helped care for Mom at Debert Court. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Noel United Church, Noel, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officating with a reception to follow in the Church basement.
