Ethel and Murray were both lovely people. I enjoyed her hospitality and suppers up at their house in Kennetcook. My Dad, Clifford, remembers Ethel from the Cheverie schoolhouse. Dad just said "Ethel was a nice girl." Please accept our sympathies .

Dear Family, So sorry to hear of Aunt Ethel's passing but truly believe that she's in a much better place now with your dad. She always had an extra plate to put on the table for a meal for me (and that happened a lot!!) and one never left there hungry. She touched a lot of lives both personally and through her teachings. She will be missed. God Bless!

Dear David,Lorraine and Rod, I am truly sad that Auntie has passed on..But I know that she has been raised to glory beside God..I am truly happy that I got to see Auntie in May when Barry and I were able to visit her..On that day,I was happy that she lived in such a safe homey environment..Auntie taught me many of life's lessons (including English Grammar!!!)..I shall miss her(as I indeed miss all my departed relatives) when I return to Nova Scotia..Please know that you will be in my heart and prayers as you grieve the loss of this wonderful member of our MacAskill family..Hugs to all, Dawn Lee.

We are so very sorry to hear of Aunt Ethel's passing. She will be very greatly missed. I was sitting this morning thinking of all the wonderful vacations i spent as a child at Uncle Murrays and her place and it was a great escape to go there and visit. Mom loved her so much and it makes me smile a little to know that they will be up there wreaking havoc together again..love and hugs to you all..kathy
