Obituary of Craig "Bimbo" White

White, Craig “Bimbo” Leo – 66 of Kennetcook passed away on June 21st, 2022, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with his family by his side. Born in Noel Road on June 20th, 1956, he was the son of the late Roderick and Esther (Harvie) White. Bimbo was an athlete and enthusiast of many sports including hockey, softball and baseball, his favourite teams were the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Blue Jays. In more recent years Bimbo and Cathy enjoyed playing golf together, their favorite course being Cambridge Cliffs. When he wasn’t watching or playing sports, Bimbo loved to play Texas hold’em or 63’s, try his luck bass fishing or gather with friends and family for an old-time country party. Bimbo will be forever remembered as a man that loved life and lived everyday to the absolute fullest. Bimbo is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years Cathy, son Gregory (Jena), his pride and joy granddaughter Emery, brother Peter (Michelle), sisters Susie (Buck) and Marilyn along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bimbo is predeceased by sister Ferne, brother Dawson and brother-in-law Barry. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate care that the staff and nurses of the ICU unit showed Bimbo during his stay at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. There will be a private immediate family Committal Service held in the St. James Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date.
