Obituary of Wayne Wilcox

Wilcox, William “Wayne” – 74 of Windsor, formerly of Lower Burlington. It Is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wayne on April 14th, 2022, in Haliburton Place, Windsor. Born in Windsor on June 19th, 1947, he was the son of Budd and Lottie (Hogan) Wilcox. Wayne spent most of his working life as a truck driver, owing his own rig for many years. His favourite pastime was relaxing on the shores of the Minas Basin, waiting for that “big bass” to bite his line. Wayne will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thankyou to Amber Phillips, Dr. Iona Wile and all the great nurses at Haliburton Place, the care you gave Wayne was exceptional. Wayne is survived by sister Marion (Ken) Bruce, special friends; Kelly and Paula Bruce, Krysi and Stephen McCabe, special little friend Duchess, children Jim, Jamie and Cynthia. Thankyou to Kenny S, Clint, Heather, Bill and Mary for their friendship. Besides his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his beloved son Harold.
