Obituary of Paul Anthony
Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anthony, Paul Elmer – 76 of Kennetcook, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Paul on November 28th, 2021, in Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born September 3rd, 1945, in Noel Road, he was the son to the late Delbert and Leola (White) Anthony.
Everyone knew Paul as the “oilman” as he worked very hard at running his own oil delivery business. Before Paul got sick, he enjoyed “the captain”, all fine wine, flea markets, yard sales and doing the bird dance. His and Eleanor’s home was known as the “do drop in, to all the young folks in the community” so many funny stories, there are too many to share. Everyone was treated like gold, and never left hungry or thirsty.
Paul leaves behind the ones that loved him dearly; wife Eleanor, children Kent (Loraleigh) Kennetcook, Karry (Kelly) Kennetcook, Kara (Kendall) Kennetcook, stepdaughter Kim (Donnie), grandchildren Kirkland and Kaelum, siblings Helen (Donnie) Burntcoat, Teresa (Russell) West Gore, Harold (Kelly) Kennetcook, sister-in-law Evelyn Kennetcook and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Paul is predeceased by daughter Kelly, brothers Leroy, Jerry, sisters Alva, Grace infancy and brother-in-law Gordon.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Vimy Court Nursing home where the staff treated Paul like gold.
Respecting Paul’s wishes: there will be no public service or visitation, a private family burial will take place at a later date.
