Hovell, Frederick George – 79 of Wolfville, the family of George Hovell announces his passing on April 14th, 2021 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville following a long illness. Born in Wolfville on June 3rd, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles and Eileen (Keating) Hovell. George held family and friends dear to his heart as well as his cat Mimi. Visits from his brother John, good friends Gene Hill, and Brian Taylor brought joy, laughter and memories that will carry on forever. George will be forever missed and remembered by all who knew him. George is survived by his loving wife Christine (Oliver), daughter Tanya Hovell (Joel Nedeau), granddaughter Hannah, brother John (Peggy), stepchildren Samantha and Toni-ann Sanford along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his ex-wife Colleen (Atwell) Hovell, son Michael, grandson Shawn. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or service upon George’s request.
