Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Evelyn Macumber announce her peaceful passing at home on May 12, 2020, with her family by her side. Born in Bramber on February 2nd, 1935, she is the daughter of the late Winfred and Alma (Mills) Brown. Margaret was known for her famous baking, love of animals, feeding her birds and cuddling with her cat Bubby. She enjoyed tending her rose bushes and flower gardens. Margaret loved to shop and never missed her annual Christmas shopping trip to Truro. Bluegrass music kept her toes tapping. She enjoyed attending concerts, music festivals, and community fundraisers, along with her summertime trips to Mahone Bay. Her daily Tim Horton’s visits kept her social and up to date on the latest news. Margaret loved with all her heart and despite living in Three Mile Plains at the time of passing, her heart belonged on the shore. Trips to the Ocean Beach Road always made her smile. She cherished her family and loved them unconditionally. Margaret is survived by her children, Sharlet (Brian) Wamboldt, Mike (karen) Macumber, Wanda (Phillip) Leopold, and Jeff, 4 sisters and 6 brothers, 11 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years Russell Macumber, grandson Andrew Bond, brothers Bill and Bub Brown. The family would like to thank Dr. Cussen, The VON, Palliative Care/Amber Phillips for their support and help during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place.
