Reviewing the wonderful words and memories for Kirk to his family shows the impact of his life and his friendships. As one of his in-laws I realize the impact his passing will have on our families. There are never enough words to express effects of such a loss so I simply will not try. I only offer to my sister Lalia and her family our sincere condolences hoping that in time the pain will cease to be as it is now and yet there will always be an empty feeling. You know and so does Kirk how much you are loved by all who grieve with you this day. Love you Den and Pat Drysdale

I am so sorry to learn of Kirks passing. I met Kirk in 2016 during his stay at Truro hospital. I am a nurse on the stroke unit. I thought a lot of him. We shared many laughs.
Thinking of you at this time.

I always received a ‘hearty hello’ of some sort whenever seeing Kirk at Jazz Aviation. His grinning face was missed after his first setback and we are so sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Kirk's passing. Met him at work, Tim's in Brookfield. Always wanted a smiley face on his coffee lid and would send back if not on there. Favorite joke turned into being if he wanted a hashbrown to go with it, and he wasn't shy on telling you how much he hated them, lol. Thoughts and prayers to the family. I will miss his visits. R.I.P

A fellow classmate of the class of 1980 at HNRH. I met up with Kirk again about 10 years ago when he was working at an internet or satellite company. He hadn’t changed. Still smiling. He spoke proudly of his wife and family. Laila, too, was a classmate. I admired, then and now, their longstanding love. Thinking of you all. A sad loss. Leslie Sanford O’Brien
