Obituary of Laurie Hunter

Hunter-Laurie Alvin- 75 of North Noel Road passed away suddenly at home on January 15th, 2020. Born in Windsor on July 22nd, 1944, he was the son of the late Alvin and Mabel (Thompson) Hunter.
Laurie carried out most of his working career at W & B Construction. He enjoyed being outdoors watching birds come to his feeders or being in the woods hunting. He liked to play bingo and watch the Toronto Blue Jays or Boston Bruins games on tv.
He is survived by his wife Ladene, daughters Annette (Loran) Patterson, Tammie and Heather (Brady) Rines, sons Terry (Amanda) and Jeffeory (Robin), sister Debbie (Edmond) Gallant, granddaughters Melissa, Amber & Kayla Patterson, Melissa Snow and Madison Hunter, grandsons Sebastian & Aidan Rines, great granddaughters Hannah, Irey and Emmalynn, great grandsons Lucas & Mason.
Laurie was predeceased by his brother David.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by Laurie’s request. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made in memory of Laurie to the St. James Presbyterian Cemetery, White settlement Road or the Moose Brook Cemetery Fund in memory of Laurie’s brother in law Kenny White.
