To the Brison family: One of the last times that I saw Clifford was when I was playing the fiddle with a music group at Haliburton Place. Before we started our session I went over to say hello. "You might not remember me", I said. You can image my surprise when he said, without hesitation, "why yes I do. You're 'Seck' Allen's second oldest." He danced to the music with anyone he could that day. Then at the break he told me exactly how many years it had been since he and Dad had been in Newfoundland hunting moose. Sharp as a tack.
Your father (and mother) were well known, and well loved. My sympathy is extended to all of you.

Sincere Condolences to All of Clifford's Family- I am a daughter of Frank & Jean Hiltz from Cambridge and I have to share some memories of your Dad . These memories are from me as a 10 yr old- Clifford's truck rolling down the Hwy loaded with necessities & Groceries & treats I can still see all those slanted shelves in his truck full of good things to eat - made my eyes Big - I guess thats why I always got a treat with a smile .
Another fond memory was going to Clifford & Verna's store near Xmas and seeing all that stuff that we hoped to get from Santa - in those days thats as close as you got to seeing Santa and he made it all so real .
In closing your Dad was a Wonderful man and he enjoyed all of the above occasions as well .For most of us he was certainly apart of the Shore and will be remembered for his kindness.
Hold all your memories of your Dad close to your heart to help you through these difficult days
Sincerely Frances Dorman nee Hiltz

I am very sorry to hear the news of your fathers passing. I have heard so many stories over the years about your dad and one part of every story, that resonated loudly, was the admiration and respect he had of his family members.
I remember Phil, the morning you called me about your moms passing. It was a sad day as I heard the magnitude of your loss in your voice. Now your parents are together again. We all can take some solace in that.

Dear Frances and family
I cannot possibly add to the wonderful and well deserved comments about your Dad. My first memories
were at the ole Red and White store and seeing your Mom and Dad run an efficient business together.
Carl and I were in to see him just before Christmas and as usual he had many stories to share. One in particular
that I remember was when he was a young man and started working; his father told him he could live at home
BUT give something to his mother. I personally think that was in his nature anyway.
