To members of Shirley's Family-
I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley was nursing on the Pediatric Unit at the Old P.M.H. when I came to Windsor in 1964 to work in Health Records. She was a caring, dedicated, wonderful nurse - a shining example for all those that knew her. I feel fortunate to have known her. She will be missed.
Thinking of you with loving thoughts and sincere sympathy.

Shirley never married but so much of the "Proverbs 31 woman" certainly describes her. Thank you, Shirley, for the example you have been of a godly and caring woman all of your life. Proverbs 31:
17 She gathers her strength around her and throws herself into her work.
ט 18 She sees that her business affairs go well; her lamp stays lit at night.
י 19 She puts her hands to the staff with the flax; her fingers hold the spinning rod.
כ 20 She reaches out to embrace the poor and opens her arms to the needy.
ל 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; since all of them are doubly clothed.
מ 22 She makes her own quilts; she is clothed in fine linen and purple
ע 25 Clothed with strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come.
פ 26 When she opens her mouth, she speaks wisely; on her tongue is loving instruction.
צ 27 She watches how things go in her house, not eating the bread of idleness.
ר 29 “Many women have done wonderful things, but you surpass them all!”
ש 30 Charm can lie, beauty can vanish, but a woman who fears The Lord should be praised.
ת 31 Give her a share in what she produces; let her works speak her praises at the city gates.

Dear Aunt Shirley, you will be missed. You were always so kind to us when we came to visit you on the farm or in the apartment in the city. Looking back, I'm sure three rowdy kids were not easy but we always felt welcomed and loved. Your calm and kind demeanor will always be remembered and cherished.

Sending Deepest Sympathy to Shirley's Family - Shirley was a remarkable Lady and Nurse - I grew up close to her home as well, and she was well thought of in the community. When I lost my parents Shirley had a wee chat with me and I never forgot it. Shirley can now rest- as she was an angel to many I also had the privilege of meeting her sister Margaret a few years back - another Shirley. !
May all the Family find comfort in knowing how she was loved by all who knew her , Love Frances ( nee Hiltz from Cambridge ))

My sincere condolences to the Family Circle of dear Shirley!
She was a lady who gained the respect of many people with her caring & positive outlook on life.
My late husband, James, who knew her a little better than I did, held her in high esteem.
She is now enjoying being with her Lord & Saviour, whom she trusted for Salvation, many years ago.
Sorry I cannot be at her Funeral, as I plan being at a Bible Conference in PEI this weekend.
