Obituary of Darrell Robinson

ROBINSON - Darrell Frederick, of Summerville, Hants Co., passed away Friday April 12, 2013 at the QEII hospital in Halifax. He was the son of the late George and Ada (Pratt) Robinson. Darrell is survived by his wife Barbara (Lake), son Gregory, and grandson David. Also surviving are sister Diane; half-brothers Leonard, George, and Chris, all of Halifax; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister Margaret, of Ontario, and twin sister and brother Beatrice and Burton. Darrell worked as a construction worker most of his life. He was known as the handyman to all. He enjoyed fishing and walking the beach with his grandson and family dog Champ. Darrell was an active and devoted fireman for the Summerville Fire Dept. for many years and seldom missed a call. He will be greatly and sadly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by his request.Arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
