Obituary of Evelyn Aileen Smith

SMITH - Evelyn Aileen (Green), age 80, of Walton, Hants Co., passed away at home on January 14, 2019. Born on January 31, 1938 in North Noel Road, she was the daughter of the late Merton and Stella (White) Green. Evelyn was an avid Bingo player, and enjoyed scratching Lotto tickets, doing puzzles, and bass fishing. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Burpee Smith; daughters, Marlene Smith (Mark) of Walton, and Shelley Morris (Rodney) of Cheverie; son Andrew and fur baby Daisy Dog at home; her grandchildren, Mandy Wood (Brett) of Hilden, Cheryl Snow, Stephanie Snow, and only grandson Ryan Snow, all of Walton; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Sierra, and Payson Snow and twins Adam and Olivia Wood; nieces, Eleanor (Greene) Roulston and Dawn Leigh Greene; and nephews, Robert Greene and Wayne Greene.  Besides her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her brothers, Robie, Ralph, and Melvin; sisters, Alda and Hilda Green. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19 from 2-4pm with a funeral service on Sunday, January 20 at 2pm, both at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
