Obituary of Hazel Orlean May Elliott

ELLIOTT - Hazel Orlean May, age 91, of Centre Rawdon. It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Hazel Orlean May (Sanford) Elliott on November 23, 2018 at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on November 5, 1927, Hazel was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Connors) Sanford of Avondale, NS. Hazel is survived by sons Reggie (Gaylene) and Roger (Corinne); special sons Benny and Paul; daughters Debbie, Brenda (Tim), Kathy, Deanna (Tom), Trish (Bill), and Tammy (Glenn); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean, June, Joan, Marilyn, Marina, and Sharron; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Elliott; partner, Henry Green; son Harold; daughters Doreen and Linda; brothers Stanley and Lester; and sister Marie. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a Celebration of Life will be held on December 1, 2018 from 12pm-2pm at West Gore Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 5657 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS B3J 3R4; or the Canadian Cancer Society, 5826 South St, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6.
