CROSSMAN – Joseph “Joe” Gordon, age 58, of Lower Selma, passed away on November 3, 2018 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born on January 7, 1960, he was the son of the late Walter and Lilly (Davis) Crossman. Joe worked as a carpenter, then at the airport de-icing planes. He loved playing darts and watching the kids play ball. Joe is survived by his partner, Lisa Ettinger; daughters, Felicia (Bruce) and Susie (Justin); stepchildren, Ronnie (Chelsea) and Kelly; grandchildren, Maytia, Emma, Liam, and Chase; brother, Jim (Louise) Crossman; sister, Phyllis (Glendon) Laffin; mother-in-law, Mabel; brother-in-law, Rick (Kim) Singer; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his father-in-law, Raymond Singer; nephew Kevin, and niece Azelle. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 2pm in the Selma Community Cemetery, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating, with a reception to follow at the Noel Legion.
