White, Stuart Thomas "Tommy", 83, Kennetcook, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Braeside Nursing Home, Middle Musquodoboit. Born in Noel Rd. he was the son of the late Alfred L. and Linden (Barron) White of Noel Road. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean (McCulloch) White, his two daughters Carol Trider and Faye (Wayne Campagna), son Brian (Karen), sister Hazel, daughter-in-law Valerie. Grandchildren Toby, Kelly (Greg),Trish, Michael (Krista),Kristin and Megan, stepgrandson Dewayne, great-grandchildren Ryan, Isabella, Liam and Ainsleigh. He was predeceased by son Tony, grandson Martin and stepgrandson Timmy; brothers Marsden, Blois, Lawrence and William, sisters Almira, Lalia and Edna, and several nieces and nephews Tommy worked in construction most of his life until he retired in 1994. He loved camping, telling jokes, and also an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Maple Leafs and wrestling. Tommy could fix almost anything his way. Most of all, he loved his family. Special thanks to the VON and Braeside for the wonderful care given to Tommy over the years. Cremation has taken place and a graveside committal service will be held Saturday, Mar. 23. 2013 at 2:00pm at North Noel Rd Cemetery, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officating with a gathering to follow at The Little White Hall Noel Rd. Family flowers only.
