CROWELL - William "Bill" Arthur, age 69, of Truro, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with his three daughters by his side. Born in Windsor on June 24, 1947, he was a son of the late Earl and Minnie (Munro) Crowell. Bill had a passion for woodworking, making a wide array of treasures for family and friends. He loved music, going to jam sessions, and dancing. Bill loved to socialize, and with his great sense of humour made many friends along the way. He worked as an electrician for 35 years, and was a member of the IBEW Union for almost 50 years. Bill will be greatly missed by his daughters, Shelley (Alex) Catchpaugh, Cochrane, Alberta; Paula (Mark) Sabean and Cheryl Crowell (Rick Pineo), both of Falmouth; his common-law partner, Diane Main; grandchildren, Courtney and Meghan Catchpaugh, and Danielle and Madison Sabean; sister, Joan (Bob) Dalgelish; brothers, Bob (Audrey), Donnie (Bev), and Jimi (Michael); and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Patricia "Pat" (Dill). Cremation has taken place. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate Bill's life at the Brooklyn Civic Centre on Saturday, March 25 from 1-3pm. Private interment will take place at the St. Croix Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Sommers, Dr. Smith, and the CEHHC Palliative Care Team, as well as special friend Teddy Crowell for all she has done.
