Obituary of Charles "Max" Hughes

HUGHES - Charles Maxwell "Max", age 63, of Moose Brook, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Moose Brook on April 8, 1953, he was a son of the late McCuskett and Beulah (Lively) Hughes. Max worked as a Rock Driller for 36 years. He is survived by his sons, Gary and Dawson of Dawson Creek, B.C.; daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Bosomworth and grandson, Bryce Bosomworth of Red Deer, Alberta; sisters, Elaine (Ron) Singer and Gwen (Murray) Benedict and brother, Robert (Faye), all of Moose Brook; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Max was predeceased by brothers Gilbert, Leland, and Randy; and three siblings in infancy. No visitation by request; a private committal service will be held at Moose Brook Cemetery, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. The family wishes to thank the VON and staff at CEHHC for their care and kindness.
