Harvey, Ralph Howard-87, Brooklyn, Hants Co., passed away suddenly on December 3, 2012 at home. Born in Brooklyn, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Irving and Nellie (Rockwell) Harvey. Ralph worked at Fundy Gypsum for many years and at the Hants Co-op Feed Mill. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening and had a lifelong passion for farming. Ralph was a devoted husband, Father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Alma (Ettinger), daughter Carolyn (Bob) Baker, Dartmouth and son Peter (Daff), Kentville, grandchildren Jan (Brent), Kim (Ed), Nicole (Shane), Brad, five great grandchildren and sister Frances Harvey, Halifax. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside committal service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory can be made to the Brooklyn Volunteer Fire or charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
