Obituary of Alvin "Al" Ingram

Ingram, Alvin Harvey (Al), age 76, passed away suddenly at Eastern Maine Medical Centre on July 17, 2015 after a year long battle with cancer. Born July 7, 1939 in Woodville,Hants Co., he was the son of the late Wintrop and Gladys (Harvey) Ingram of Woodville, Hants Co. Al served in the R.C.A.F. @ 103 Squadron in Greenwood as an electrician. Later moved to Rochester, New York where he spent 45 years working for Eastman Kodak. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Spencerport, N.Y. Al and his wife Barb traveled to many places in Asia, toured United States and Canada. He also owned a home in Port Charlotte, Florida, where he spent many winters. The last seven years he spent with his fiancée, Rita Petrie from Bathurst, New Brunswick. Al is survived by his daughters, Luanne (Peter) Castronova, Vicki (Greg) Worden; grandchildren, Jillian , Becca, Gavin and Rowan; sisters, Ce (Lance) White, Summerville, N.S, Irene (John) Muir, Sussex, N.B.; brother, Austin Ingram (Diane McPherson) Redwater, Alberta; his fiancée, Rita Petrie, Bathurst, N.B. and many nieces and nephews.Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Murray) Ingram, brother Ken Ingram, sister-in-laws, Julia Ingram and Elizabeth Ingram.
