Leona Marion Wile, 74, Halifax, passed away on Monday April 21, 2025, in the QEll, Halifax. Born in Cambridge, Hants Co on Nov. 30, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Myrtle (MacEachern) McLellan. Leona was a homemaker who always did her best to take care of her family. While looking for a new recipe, or spending time in the kitchen, she would be accompanied by some “real” country music. She loved to laugh and had the ability to find something funny in just about any situation. She enjoyed doing various crafts and always had a word find near by. Though she wouldn’t admit it, she hated to miss her shows. Leona is survived by her son Jason, Halifax, sisters Carol (Alan) Linkletter, Lower Maccan, Valerie McLellan, Ontario. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ralph, brothers Kenneth and Gary, sisters Debbie Beck and Beverly Cremation has taken place; respecting Leona’s wished there will be no service. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, N.S. Phone (902-633-2431) or please visit our web site at Allenfh.ca to sign the guest book or leave a private condolence.
